About me
I began my career as a wildlife biologist breeding and releasing endangered species back to the wild, but I quickly learned that I didn't want to keep a few species from teetering into extinction. I wanted to keep them from approaching that point in the first place. Since then, I’ve held a series of roles implementing and investing in water, agriculture, forestry, and energy projects around the world. I believe that technological, economic, and human progress are crucial ingredients of environmental protection.
I’m a Fellow with The Roots of Progress Institute. My writing has been featured on Big Think, and I’ve been a guest on multiple podcasts including Interintellect Hostcast, My Climate Journey, Modern Acre, and Discern Earth. I’m also a frequent host of Interintellect salons.
